Take a drinking straw and cut to the desired length of bead.

Apply adhesive on the surface of the straw beads. We have used a clear all purpose glue.

Take a length of decorative fibre and wind it around the surface of the straw bead, and allow to dry.

Take a length of 0.4mm wire and make a loop at one end. Thread seed beads onto wire. Bend and secure the loop inside the fibre bead, and gradually wind the beaded wire around the fibre bead. Make a loop at the other end and again secure inside the bead.

To finish off, use a little epoxy resin or superglue to permanently secure the wire inside the fibre bead.
