Allison Galpin – has worked
as a Nanny and Child Minder, which means that she is well placed to work with children.
She has been making jewellery for over a decade and has been teaching jewellery
making and craft skills for the past 8 years. Her work has been used as projects
for national craft magazines and she has also been a guest presenter on Create and Craft TV. Allison is interested in all things of
an artistic nature; she studied make up artistry under a BBC makeup artist and
loves to show girls how to have fun transforming themselves using cosmetics.

Great fun for all girls aged 8 to 80 years. Girls and women of all ages enjoy these
gatherings. A great social experience, where girls can learn jewellery making skills,
and come away from the party with their own unique piece of jewellery. It is a party
and party gift all in one. These parties are so popular that many girls book these
parties year on year and look forward to their party day with great excitement.
Parties last approximately two hours. Each participant is given helpful tuition
and guidance to help them complete their project, ensuring that they go away
from the jewellery making party experience with their own unique jewellery creation.
A wide selection of stunning high quality jewellery beads are provided in various
colour combinations so that girls can select their favourite colours and create a
stunning piece of jewellery that they will be proud to wear.
Before each party begins, a demonstration and quick safety talk is given to ensure
that all girls are aware of how to handle their tools with care to ensure that the
party is conducted in a safe and professional manner whilst, also allowing everyone
to have fun.
Parents have often commented on how much fun their children have had whilst learning
a new and exciting skill. They also enjoy the fact that as children become so engrossed
in making their jewellery piece, they become very quiet and not at all rowdy.

Make over parties
We all remember playing with our mothers' make up, (and probably making a real mess
of it!) Girls have always loved experimenting with makeup, but without the right
guidance, they can end up looking like clowns or even worse.
Having a make over party is great fun and allows girls to find out about style
and application. Girls are informed about colour coordination and are shown which
shades suit their underlying skin tones. They are taught about shading and how to
bring forward their best features.
These parties are great social occasions and fun ways for girls to get together
and bond. They are a particularly fun activity for sleepover parties.
As a special treat, each girl is also given a piece of unique jewellery to take
away with her as a birthday party gift.
